I have to apologize for being gone so long without leaving any tid-bits or up-dates about what is happening in my life.
Things have been a bit hectic around here for the last month. We've had some ups and downs. On the ups side~My husband and I celebrated our 24th year Anniversary and on the downs side-my husband became quite ill for several weeks but thank heavens he is now on the mend. For anyone that knows my hubby, he's never sick, so with him being out of commission was certainly something for concern.
In other news, I've moved to another Antique Mall. In fact, it is the one that I wanted to be in to begin with but they had such a long waiting list that I didn't really think that I would get in for a very, long time. Let me tell you, I was thrilled when I received the call to let me know they had an opening. Yay!
My area is not as large as I had, but I'm happy anyway. The location is great, right down town.
I'm sharing a few photos that I took the other day while setting up my booth, it looks pretty empty at the moment, I still have more items to move in.
My hubby and sons got the area all ready. They did lots of measuring, cutting and painting of the lattice. I picked out an antique white for the paint and just love it. What do you think? My husband still has some lights that he will put up, hopefully sometime this week. Anyway, here are a few photos of my new booth~taken with iphone so not so clear.
Little hand-made bear from 1985. Isn't he a cutie?
Well, that's it for me at the moment. I wanted to catch you up. I have lots and lots of projects to get completed, just waiting for a break in the weather. We've had so much rain lately that painting is just not an option right now. The trees are budding out so I know Spring is right around the corner.I can hardly wait!
Thanks so much for stopping by~I always appreciate your visits!
From the Heart,
Jana

Congrats on the move Jana! I think it's exciting - I've contemplated having a booth but haven't found the nerves to tackle that yet - maybe in the near future. LOVE that little brown chair beside the bear.

Congrats on your new space! How exciting. I must say I made bears just like the on you have back in 1985 out of quilts when we lived in Pittsburgh. It could have been one of mine LOL. Same bear - how funny!
ReplyDeleteAll the best on your new space. It's looking great already.
