I'm sure you've heard of Debbie, she is a fabulous lady that has a linky party every week for newbies, like myself, who have been blogging for less than 6 months or have less than 100 followers. Plus she has so much more about thrifting and crafting. If you haven't been to her blog, please go check it out. You won't be sorry that you did.
On another note~~I know I'm supposed to be consistent in my posting but I have been busy sanding and painting away on another outdoor piece this week, so I don't have really anything to share with you all unless you want to read about all the hot weather we're having and how I'll been watering like crazy just so the grass and all my plants won't die from this extreme heat.
We've hit over 100 degrees so far everyday this week! One day 104 with a heat index of 110. Whew, it's going to be a hot summer.
Believe me though, out under the metal roof where I was painting at it felt like 120 degrees. Talk about hard to paint in that heat. Paint just wants to gum up right on the brush. I ended up having to stop my painting and clear a spot in the workshop to move my project in there so I could turn on the A/C so that I could continue with my painting. What was I thinking not being in the workshop to start with. :0)
Thanks for letting me ramble, now it time for me to go back to watering and painting. I hope to have my project finished in the next day or so. So stay tuned....
From the Heart,
