Browsing at an Antique Shop

Today I was able to browse around in one of the local antique shops in a nearby town, while there I took a few photos to share. They're taken with my iPhone so quality may not be so great.

I love the tall columns in the back on either side of the window frames, don't you? I'm really giving these some thought. They would look good in the corners of our dining room.

These quart milk jars and holder where a good buy at $65.00.

A darling little child's antique chair for $25.00

I didn't find too many items that I just couldn't live without today. I know my husband was breathing a sigh of relief about that.  I did pick up an old telephone plus a few other items and my husband picked up a few manly things that caught his eye. I could spend hours just looking around at all the items and imaging the history behind many of the things. Which we did and it was so much fun. I enjoy going to this particular antique shop because every time I go things are different and so many new/old items to see.

I hope you enjoyed your stroll with me.

From the Heart,

  1. Oh so many beautiful things! Thanks for stopping by my blog and yes, the table is an old spool from electrical wire and we added a round piece of wood on top for the tabletop. We've had it for almost as long as we've been married which is over 20 years.

  2. So many great things! What got my eye the most were those columns, the lamps, and the milk jars! Love them!

  3. Wow, great shops! So many cool things! I hope you get those columns. So unique and funky. Love them.

I love comments and I always take the time to write you back to say "Thanks" if you don't have your setting to noreply. Just know that I appreciate each and every comment left. They make my day!
