Taking time to see the beauty

How is your Memorial Day weekend? We have had a very nice one. A visit from relatives, grilled outdoors and just had a very relaxing time.
I took a break from all projects and work to just enjoy my family. We all need a little "down time".
The weather is gorgeous albeit very warm hot, it's in the 90's. I believe we're going to have a very hot Summer since it is only Spring and we're already having mid 90 degree days.

I wanted to share a photo of one of our Lantana plants. I love the delicate little flowers, to me they look so perfect and sweet.

Our back yard is filling up with lots of color from all the beautiful plants and flowers.

How is your yard looking? Are you taking the time to see the beauty of all your hard work? I hope so.
When I take the time to look, I can say that it is all worth it.

I hope you all have a splendid holiday weekend.

From the Heart,

  1. Your flowers are so pretty and colorful. Things are slow here because it has been very cool and rainy.

    1. Thanks Alana
Here's hoping that you get pretty weather soon. :0)

  2. I love Lantana, and the butterflies it attracts! What a gorgeous plant! Looks like you are doing a lot of work in your backyard! I will be following along with you and look forward to reading more about it!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and for your sweet comments on my yard! You totally made my day! :-)

  3. Jana! Those are one of my favorite flowers/plants! Me and my boys call them the Fruity Pebbles Plant because it reminds us of them! Gorgeous shot!

  4. Jana, I thought I'd reply back to you over here on this beautiful Lantana post. This is my favorite color of them. You think they'd grow well here where I live but I had some and they didn't make it. I quickly gave up on them. I should try again. Thanks so much for coming by to check out my blog at Quirky Vistas. I do appreciate it. I just went through and looked at all the work on your BBQ and Spa. Wow. You don't mess around. Can't wait to see more of what you are up to as your projects continue!

I love comments and I always take the time to write you back to say "Thanks" if you don't have your setting to noreply. Just know that I appreciate each and every comment left. They make my day!
